Ukrainian Tesla employees who have been asked to return to defend the country will be paid at least three months’ wages, according to an email the company sent to employees in the EMEA region on Monday. It was unclear in the email whether the benefit would extend to employees in North America and elsewhere.
Three months later, Tesla plans to reassess the situation with the Russian-Ukrainian war and its employees to decide what else is needed.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky called in reservists to fight back in February in response to the expected invasion.
