Vaughn’s mother, Mandy, threw in petrol at a Caltex petrol station 2 months ago and recalls the day they met. Vaughn was terribly sick but was left smiling and laughing following an interaction with Tony. The pair have been friends ever since and Tony always makes time to chat to Vaughn when he and Mandy pop in at the petrol station. During one of their chats, Tony asked Vaughn to recommend any well-priced bicycles he comes across. Vaughn had been saving up for months with the intention of going on holiday with his family. Mother and son proceeded to break the (piggy) bank and bought Tony a brand new bicycle. Tony was left humbled and in shock when Vaughn handed his gift over to him at the petrol station. Mandy had the presence of mind to photograph the moment and shared the beautiful post via Facebook. One can sense her overwhelmed with pride by her son’s generosity and sense of humanity.
